Jackhigh is the multifarious UK producer Ben Thomas. Another early pioneer of the wonky/abstract beats sound this side of the Atlantic, he featured on both volumes of Up My Alley’s groundbreaking Beatnicks series as well as remixing for Architeq on Tirk and working with 1000names on one EP and their album.

Despite being until now unsigned Ben’s tracks have been played several times on BBC Radio 1 in the iconic Mary Anne Hobbs show by Mary Anne herself and by Lukid.

Ben is a diverse producer, working under several aliases and in several styles. Simultaneously with signing with us as Jackhigh he’s also signed another project with the legendary Ghostly International label in America. Expect a Jackhigh EP soon as well as the very special Jackhigh and Teebs collaboration.
